A couple of you have tried to guess a song's contributor. But how's about top to bottom, guess all 16 tracks? Anybody game?

I'll list the 16 tracks below, but note - there are only 14 contributors. AHA - a daily double (or two in this case). Can you figure those out? Alex, I'll take Rave Reccers for $1000.

No effpee, you don't get a bonus for naming your own contribution.

Contributors included: Troy, PPG, jack70, Stone, FA, FP, jc, Davey, slosh, audiobill, jasn, tentoze, nobody, and yours truly, JDaniel.

Here's my guesses without too much over-thinking:

01 PPG
02 JDaniel
03 Davey
04 slosh
05 stone
06 jc
07 jasn
08 audiobill
09 finch
10 FA
11 troy
12 tentoze
13 nobody
14 jc
15 jack70
16 JDaniel

there were a few that were quite obvious, a few that I thought were obvious, before I started thinking about it, so I finally stopped and just went with what I had. I'm stilling thinking about switching 4 & 5.. but I won't. I really enjoyed listening to this. There's not a single track on here that turns me off totally.. there's usually one or two stinkers, but this one is just great. My favorites were the American Analog Set, Mae, Wrens, RPWL, Sun Kil Moon and Handsome Family. The rest are enjoyable as well, with Damien Rice and Tantric at the lower end of the enjoyment spectrum. But, overall, very nice sequencing and nice picks from everyone.

I agree with most of what Jar says. I've listened a coupla times now and enjoy just about everything on it. The somewhat progressive section in the middle would be my least favorite part, but still fun...and I didn't hate the Fleetwood Mac cover either, just didn't think it worked all that well compared to the original. Initial impression is that this is one of the best so far and very well sequenced too. Nice job, Jeff! Oh, and I think Jar is mostly right with his whodunnit list, but I've got some refinements that I think are closer to the truth. Tough when you don't know who got the double selections, but ......

1. Tiny Volcano - "Mary Goes Around" PPG
2. Riddle of Steel - "Kissing In Secret" Finch Platte
3. American Analog Set - "Come Home Baby Julie, Come Home" Davey
4. Mae - "Tisbury Lane" JDaniel
5. Wrens - "Hopeless" Slosh
6. Electrelane - "This Deed" Stone
7. +/- "Meglomania" jasn
8. Spiritualized - "She Kissed Me (It Felt Like A Hit)" audiobill

Damn Davey - you sir are psychic, or is it psychotic? Or just plain scary. Or you just know us too well.

Thanks for the comments Davey. But you summed it up best when you said "Nice job everyone". All I did was throw them all together. And had a blast doing it.

Hey, JD.

I haven't received a copy, yet.

Am I right to assume it's in the mail?? Sometimes CDrs take their time making it up to Canada.

Can't wait to listen to this baby.

Cheers,
Bill

Not psychic at all so I guess that just leaves psychotic. Not really dangerously so, but enough to make you wonder if you should lock up your hats.

Future avatar? Hmmm, maybe......

Yes Bill, the Canadian copies are coming via MAF, so it will probably be a few more days.

Maybe Mark will post when he mails them.
