Wireless Subwoofer kits

Has anybody tried using a wireless subwoofer kit? I was thinking of getting one so I could move my sub to the opposite corner but don't want to run wires all the way across my living room. I've always been wary of wireless speakers and don't want to deal with lag, even though I'd imagine Audyssey could fix it. You know how it is with music; timing is everything.

Martin Logan makes wireless kits for subs. It cost's $199.

That thing is pricey at $300. To steep for me at this point.

Until this past Saturday while over at my friend's, I didn't even know wireless sub kits existed. He has both of his Legacy Xtreme XD subs at the back corners of his listening room and uses wireless kits, although I don't know which brand. He mentioned paying around $50, so it's likely something such as the link.

The question is, how good is the DAC in these units and does it matter. The DAC in the ML and Rel units may be better. Parts Express also sells a similar unit to the one you posted for about $69.

The reviews of the Dayton pointed out an apparent design flaw with frequent failures at the power connection point, so I decided to look elsewhere.

Subs work in such narrow bandwidths, I would think the DAC can't possibly have that much of an effect, especially within the range that subs work. Of course, I could be completely off my rocker.
