Help with my sub

Hello all,
i rearanged my equipment for a new cabinet and now I get no sound from my sub.
It's a klipsch RW10-D and Onkyo TX-SR805
I tried a new cable, nothing.
made sure it is on "yes" for subwoofer.
when I do the test mode on receiver (the static sound) I get nothing.
so I hooked to just my I pod and it works.
when I plug the cable in it makes that thump noise so I guess it's making a connection?

If the 805 lost settings when being unplugged, which it shouldn't, you should check to see in the set up menu sub is set to "yes".

Double check the cable to sub is plugged into the "sub out" or "LFE" output.

That is an odd problem but it has to be something simple if the sub works with the iPod.

Try resetting all the parameters on the Onkyo and see it that works. You could also try a different sub cable or just use an interconnect and see if it is a cable problem.

i double check and i am set to "yes" and tried a new cable.
what do you mean by try an interconnect?

An interconnect is an RCA cable, like what goes from a CD player to a receiver. A subwoofer cable is a type of interconnect. Looks like you have that taken care of.

Is there a factory reset button or procedure for the Onkyo? If so, then give that a try.
