This year is 25th anniversary of Hubble Telescope in space. Here are some amazing images taken along the way.

Thanks, Smokey.

Many will remember that the Hubble got off to a shaky start when its lens was found to be improperly shaped; fortunately remedial surgery was possible and we've been benefiting ever since.

It's astonishing to realize that gas & dust formations like the Gas Pillars are light years in length.

It's astonishing to realize that gas & dust formations like the Gas Pillars are light years in length. That is amazing as one can not wrap their mind around vastness of space. Another fact that amaze me is that these photos are millions of years old (it took light that long to reach us), and what we are seeing is the past. Not present :)

Wow! I can see so many familiar things in those images. We're connected to so much more than planet earth. One day humans will know the hows and the whys.
