I have an older wired all JBL home surround system that I want to convert to wireless primarily due to speaker location restrictions created by wired connections. what wireless solutions are available to accomplish this and also allow me to use my older amp. Ex; add on wireless transmitters to amp and recievers to speakers. MitchB

A Sonos system is probably your best bet.
Sonos WIRELESS HiFi > System (http://www.sonos.com/system)

You can also get this and use regular speakers.
Wireless Speaker Transmitter - Monoprice.com (http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=109&cp_id=10110&cs_id=1011011&p_id=10601&seq=1&format=2)
Just remember, any wireless speaker system will still need wires for power to run it and wires to the speaker.
You may just want to run wireless for the center channel and rear speakers
