Hello,

I have got a tube preamp and I wonder if it would be a good match with Aragon 4004 MKII, especially the gain. I tried to find the gain spec for the Aragon yet to no avail, even on the official website! Could someone , especailly those who have used the Aragon 4004 give me some suggestions?

My preamp:

Gain: 12 dB
Harmonic Distortion: Less than .02% at 2 volts RMS out.
Signal to Noise Ratio: Greater than 93 dB.
Max Signal Out: 20 volts RMS.
Output Impedance: 200 ohms.
Input Impedance: 50 k Ohms.
Tubes: 3-12AU7

Aragon 4004 MKII online manual: Aragon - 4004 mkII (Mondial) (http://www.aragonav.com/4004-mkii-mondial)

Speaker: KEF C30 with 8 ohms impedence and 90db sensitivity

Thanks
Chris

Didn't Klipsch acquire Aragon? I remember seeing them at a Klipsch Pilgrimage I went to several years ago. I checked online and found they had purchased both Aragon and Acurus from Mandial. They held them for a short time then sold them to two previous Klipsch employees. You may want to check the Klipsch forums for information on the Aragon.
