Any body have any experience with Insignia LCDs which is BestBuy's home brand.
The BB site customer reviews rave about its performance vs price, but reviews from technical sites such as televisioninfo.com for Insignia TVs are not so rosey.
Bestbuy have 40 inch Insignia on sale for $250 which is very tempting:

Have you seen how cheap the Samsung plasmas are? Kick in another $100.00 and get a larger screen with unquestionable great PQ. There was a LG 42" LED really cheap as well. These are things my friend sent me as he was searching for his recent TV purchase. He ended up with a Samsung plasma but got the model around $595.00.
I've never had an Insignia but the ones shown on display have looked so washed out by comparison I've not had any interest.

Samsung Plasma is cheap, but its only 720p :)
My TV stand only allow 40 inch TV which is perfect from the distance I am sitting (6 feet). The TV I am looking for should have PC input, and analog audio output. That leave out Samsung, Panasonic, LG and Vizio brand TVs since they either don't have PC input, or analog audio output.
So as you can see, my choices are very limited for TVs.

That's a bit crazy too not to have those types of connections, especially on smaller size screen models.
Surely at 6 feet 720p wouldn't be much difference from 1080p would it :)

Really I would not put too much stock in what you see at store. Most of them are set at default picture setting, and you know how off base factory picture settins are.

My PC resoution output is 720P and my Tv is 720p. So picture is very crisp. But with 1080p LCD if PC don't look as crisp, may have stick with 720P lcd since PC is my main viewing habit.

Best buy has a good return policy. You can buy one and return it if you don't like it.
