I combined pc and speaker with audiocable. then no sound was heard. when removing it sound was on. What is the connector for? level of sound is quite low despite highest settings.
maybe i will find a cd for that asus-screen. none was delivered. no instructions nowhere delivered expect a sketch of the connectors....

Just to be clear, you are using a monitor with built-in speakers? if this is the case either a single 3/8 mini plug/cord from the monitor to your sound card or a usb cable from the the monitor to the computer that will carry the signal.

Once you have it connected correctly (green color is standard for output from sound cards) check your audio settings on both the monitor (volume) and computer to make sure sound can be heard.
