I thought Ted was a fun movie. If you have fond memories of Flash Gordon, you really should see Ted. It doesn't stand up to repeated viewings for me, but it made me laugh.

Also, Mud is a good coming of age story and Matthew McConaughey is taking his craft seriuosly now.

I like Moonrise Kingdom, too and I thought some of the acting in The Master was very good. My wife really likes Beasts of the Southern Wild which I enjoyed too.
