Looking at getting these, I'm having an old Nad 3020i that's currently driving my mission 731 beautifully. But will this be a good match for the ushers?

I've used my S520's mainly as my surround speakers in my home theater setup. They've performed well in that capacity running off my Onkyo receiver. I've also used them hooked to my family room setup as the mains in my 3.1 setup, again running off of a different Onkyo receiver and they were a definite improvement over the Paradigm Mini Monitors that they replaced. The real test happened recently when I pulled them out of surround duty and hooked them up to my Pass Labs amp in my main 2 channel rig. They exhibited a beautiful mid range and nicely controlled highs. They didn't have the low end of my Dynaudio Contours, but I wouldn't expect them to either. They've performed well no matter what amplification that they've had fed to them and I'm sure the Nad will be a fine match for them.

Thanks, that really was helpful, yes, I was also told that the Nad could warm the brightness of the ushers. Just wanted to get some opinions. Have u stand mounted them?

Here is a picture of one on its stand. It's a Sanus NF stand.

I personally like the stands that the S520's bigger brother are on.

If I had the 520's I would use their matching subwoofers as stands.

If they were my mains in my home theater setup, that would probably work. With X series speakers across the front and the REL sub, I like the sound I get. I do use the setup a lot for SACD and DVD-A surround sound.
