Hey Guys, I'm trying to get a little educated to all the different cable connections. Is XLR an analog connection and AES/EBU a digital connection? I saw a digital cable on audiogon and the seller said he could do RCA, BNC or XLR termination. Is this an error or is a single XLR just an AES/EBU?

XLR is just a connector. AES and EBU are organizations. Together, they published a standard on how to transmit digital signals.
