A nice combination of animation, action and comedy films this month. Always like Muppets movies, and Journey To The West from director Stephen Chow (KungFu Hustle) sound interesting.

Ranked by release date:

300: Rise of an Empire: This new chapter of the epic saga takes the action to a fresh battlefield--on the sea.

Mr. Peabody and Sherman: Mr. Peabody, the most accomplished dog in the world, and his mischievous boy Sherman, use their time machine to go on the most outrageous adventures known to man or dog.

Need For Speed: The story chronicles a near-impossible cross-country journey for our heroes -- one which begins as a mission for revenge, but proves to be one of redemption.

Journey to the West:Young demon hunter Xuan Zang, fearlessly guided by his belief in “giving himself for the greater cause,” risks his all and conquers a water demon, a pig demon and the demon of all demons, Sun Wukong.

Muppets Most Wanted: Mayhem follows the Muppets overseas, as they find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper headed by Constantine—the World’s Number One Criminal and a dead ringer for Kermit.

God's Not Dead:A college student must convince his classmates and a hostile professor that God exists in order to pass a philosophy class.

Noah:A sci-fi adaptation of the Noah’s Ark tale from the Book of Genesis.

Sabotage: Members of an elite DEA task force find themselves being taken down one by one after they rob a drug cartel safe house.

A Haunted House 2: Sequel to A Haunted House, which spoofs recent horror movies such as Paranormal Activity and Sinister.

Avengers Confidential: Black Widow & Punisher:After interfering with a top secret mission, The Punisher is taken into custody by S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and Avenger Black Widow.
