I looked at specifcations for this cable design and this had to be worst idea for IC. Aural Thrills Audio goes on and on about hw their cable can combat noise with biased shilelding, and then put a noise factory (tube circuit) right in the IC's signal path.
The worst part about this design is that make IC cable very susceptible to the AC noise that will be coming thru tube circuit's power supply chain. And that make that cable un-transparent :)

Great theory. Have you ever heard any systems using active designs? Probably not. MIT has been doing it for as long as I have been in audio. Synergistic and many other MFGs do it also and have a big following and are still in business so more people must actually listen to them and use them than just read about them.
I'm also sure most people with low end gear would not see the benefits due to too many other negative factors in the chain.
I would love to try these out and hear what they do, but a bit out of my price range for ICs. I don't doubt they sound interesting and would not trash them down without hearing them in a quality setup.

Great theory.
Theory that is too close for comfort :)
This is type of design that create more problem that is trying to solve. There much better [passive] cabe design that combat EMI noise more effectively (especially lower frequecy interference), and don't have to run risk of introducing noise into the system.
I don't doubt they sound interesting and would not trash them down without hearing them in a quality setup.
Even if they sound interesting, jeopardizing IC's noise factor make them undesirable :)
