I am trying to run a line from my ipad to three televisions so that they can broadcast what's on the ipad. I have a choice to buy ipad to component connectors or ipad to hdmi connectors. There is going to be approximately 100 feet between the ipad and the televisions. I've read through the forum enough to see there are issues splitting hdmi and wasnt' sure if it was better to use component or if I just needed an hdmi splitter and an amp. Any suggestions on what equipment to buy to get this done would be really appreciated.

Thanks
Wil

100' may seriously degrade the quality. An amp with HDMI would help. If you run 100' of HDMI cable you will need a high quality cable which will cost some serious coin. You would be better to use component cables if you can.

Check out HDMI cables here HDMI Cable from Blue Jeans Cable (http://www.bluejeanscable.com/store/hdmi-cables/hdmi-cable.htm) You will need the Series 1 for long runs. I use these cables and they are every bit as good if not better than high priced cables.

You will also need an HDMI booster like this one at the bottom of the page-
