Here Comes Mr. Jordan

If you have seen the movie Heaven Can Wait with Warren Beatty, then you know the plot that was originally from 1941 film Here Comes Mr Jordan. And in this case, the original is much better.

Mr. Jordan star Robert Montgomery and Claude Rains and is comedy-fantasy film in which a boxer, mistakenly taken to Heaven before his time, is given a second chance back on Earth.

What make this film memorable is not the star (Montgomery), but rather co-star Claude Rains who play heaven gate keeper Mr Jordan. One of the best role ever played, with academy award screen play to match.

I've seen both. The earlier (original) version is by far a better movie.
