Speaker reccommendation :)

Hey guys,

I bet you get this a lot so I'll keep it short. I'm looking to buy some nice portable speakers for my room but also for going away/travel.

I feel like getting a Bluetooth set would be cool/handy especially in the room but when I go away on weekend etc I asked my mates and they reckon getting some with docks on it (ipod/iphone) would be better.

So can I get both? Also not a necessity but AUX connectivity would be great too.

I really like the design of ones like the Jawbone Jambox Series (http://uncrate.com/p/2010/11/jambox-xl.jpg), something that at least looks kinda sturdy and shaped nice like that.

So can you guys help me out?

Hi armada. I was in the market this summer for a portable bluetooth speaker w/aux around 150 bucks and I ended up with the Jabra Solemate.

The Jawbone (not the large one) was on my list but the Solemate beat it handily. The Solemate played deeper and louder. I've never had a problem connecting via bluetooth and the built in aux cable is handier than i thought it would be. Its got a sturdy design and comes with a decent carry bag too. It can't compete with the larger portable speakers but anything larger would have been to way too big for me and defeat my purpose for it.
