I got this email today, what should I do? Should I send him money (this is really an incredible offer, I'd be a fool to pass it up), or a couple of my comps so he'll quit bugging me? ;)

BENEFICIARY. AS AN OFFICER OF THIS BANK I CANNOT BE DIRECTLY CONNECTED TO
THIS MONEY, SO MY AIM OF CONTACTING YOU IS TO ASSIST ME RECEIVE THIS MONEY
IN YOUR BANK ACCOUNT AND GET 30% OF THE TOTAL AS COMMISSION.

THERE ARE PRACTICALLY NO RISK INVOLVED, IT WILL BE A BANK TO BANK
TRANSFER, AND ALL I NEED FROM YOU IS TO STAND CLAIM AS THE ORIGINAL
DEPOSITOR OF THESE FUNDS WHO MADE THE DEPOSIT WITH MY BRANCH SO THAT MY

So his bank (of which he is the Regional Manager, just in case you missed it) made $10 million that the head office will never know about, and he decides to keep it? Yeah, sounds like an upstanding guy to me, you should trust him.

Uh. The part that made me suspicious was the "two lovely kids". No way that happens.

There was a 'Flight of the Conchords' episode where the band's manager, Murry, tells them he sent money to some guy in Africa. The funny part was that, near the end of the episode, he actually got a pile of money from the guy.
