I told you guys about the band I was asked to join 6 months ago...............
(When at first asked, my immediate thought was, "NO WAY".)
Long story short, I joined......we are gigging.........blues-based original rock music..........power trio.......having a blast.
Anyway, here's the news :
I found out this week we are booked to open for 38 Special this October at a great outdoor venue........fun.
No, they are not old farts and neither are we !!! :)
Awesome MC, wish I was close enough to come out and see you.

That's a very good gig. I miss the days of playing live as now I just play at the house on occasion when I get the time and my player friends come over an hang out which seems to get less and less as we get older but its still fun. Some of the best time I have ever had in my life was when I was playing live gigs. My bass playing isn't up to snuff with how I was when I played all the time but it would still be fun.

I'm the drummer.
My "instruments" are Gretsch USA Customs and Zildjians :
The best two names in percussion.............thanks for asking.
