These are my speakers but what are they?!

I recently inherited these from my father who said they were custom made in the late 70's in dallas, texas. The label on the back states they are made by "North American Sound Company" manufacturer of lancer speakers. I have looked up the company and found a few articles that talk a little bit about the company.
