I'm not sure if Google is reading my mind, but it told me to come here and see this thread http://forums.audioreview.com/vintage-gear/magic-ampzilla-dahlquist-dq-10-a-11319.html

I was astounded with the relationship between the DQ-10 and the Ampzilla as I have both. In fact it's one of the few Ampzilla kits to leave the factory.

I just dug out my equipment after 20 years and found that my woofers have failed, so I hooked up a Leon sub-woofer to keep me listening until they are rebuilt.

I've just realized that I know I'm old when the higher-end gear I bought new is now prized as "Vintage Analog". Glad I found this place.

Welcome to AR!
There are a few of us around here that love vintage gear.
Would love to hear an Ampzilla amp one day.
Found one in a thrift once and let it go because I did not know about them at the time. I try not to think of that too much....... :)

Welcome. My main rig is from the early 90s so I have to wait a few more years to call it Vintage.

I've done that with classic cars.:nonod:

Sometime in the early '80s I bought 10 356 Porsches from my bank for $1,000. Thought I was smart when I flipped them the next day for $2,000. Been banging my head since the '90s as there were 2 Speedsters 4 Cabrios and 4 Coupes. :mad2:

I do now have a '55 Porsche Continental Cabrio to ease the pain.
