Never been a great jazz fan but I do have 2 copies of Take 5 on vinyl. That's pretty much the highest compliment I can give the man!

I own just 4 jazz albums. Time Out is one of them. That says a lot, I think.

Time Out is a staple in my small jazz collection, too. Take 5 was in the rotation last night. RIP.

Wow I hadn't heard this until reading this thread just now. I too have a small (maybe 200 record) jazz collection - wouldn't say that Brubeck plays a dominant role in my collection - but the two records I have of his are in my top 25. I think I'll spin the Carnegie Hall concert tonight.
