I was on another site and a member just received his Traveler. The thing that struck me is a lack of antiskating and the connections for the tonearm. The rest of the table looked quite nice.

The tonearm has more solder joints than my Incognito rewired Rega arm. Just an estimate from the pictures would be solder at the clips and the tonearm plug which plugs into the bass. The top plug is soldered probably two times to the RCA jacks at the back of the table. Then whatever IC's you choose more solder at both ends with the RCA plugs. So between solder joints and dissimilar metals a low signal would be jumping through hoops.

Even though there is much discussion regarding antiskate correction I would like the option to adjust it. I wonder if this will be added on later models. I also noticed it was not using a lowered counterweight that has been an option on VPI arms.

I think now I will check out the Rega RP8 turntable. It has some interesting new design ideas.
