Looks like quite few horror movies will be released this month, with director Tim Burton kicking off this month's horror fest.

Ranked by release date:

Frankenweenie: After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. Directed by Tim Burton.

#Holdyourbreath: There is an old wives' tale that you should hold your breath when passing by a cemetery lest an evil spirit rejected by both heaven and hell gets inside of you when you inhale.

V/H/S; A group of misfits are hired by an unknown third party to burglarize a desolate house in the countryside and acquire a rare tape.

Sinister: A true crime novelist discovers a box of mysterious, disturbing home movies that plunge his family into a nightmarish experience of supernatural horror.

Grave Encounters 2: A film student who is obsessed with the movie Grave Encounters sets out with his friends to visit the psychiatric hospital depicted in the original film.

Smiley: After learning that demented serial killer named “Smiley” can be summoned through the Internet, mentally fragile Ashley must decide whether she is losing her mind or becoming Smiley's next victim.

Bigfoot: The Lost Coast Tapes: After seeing news report on a "Bigfoot Hunter" (Carl Drybeck) who claimed to possess the body of a dead Sasquatch, a journalist staking his life and the lives of his documentary film crew on proving Drybeck's claim to be a hoax.

Citadel: An agoraphobic father teams up with a renegade priest to save his daughter from the clutches of a gang of twisted feral children.

Paranormal Activity 4: A suburban family witness strange events in their neighborhood when a woman and a mysterious child move in.

Silent Hill: Revelation 3D: On the eve of Heather's 18th birthday, plagued by horrific nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she is not who she thinks she is.
