Anyone ever hear of Theater Research

Hey guys,

has anyone ever heard of the brand 'theater research'? The website is:

I know a guy that wants to sell me his TR 1100's which retail at $750 a piece for $100 a piece. What do you guys think? The speakers don't have any wear and are supposedly almost brand new. BUT, IS THIS BRAND ANY GOOD? I HEAR THAT YOU CAN ONLY BUY THEM ON ROBB REPORT?

They're white van speakers. They're $3 drivers in a box. They claim they're worth a lot, but you'd be getting robbed if you bought them for over $15. bottom line, STAY AWAY
