Hello,
I'm not sure if this is the best website to post a question like this, but it is audio-related, so I thought I might as well give it a try.
I just bought a Blue Snowball Mic (used) on eBay. But there is one very irritating problem.
On the mic, there are three settings. Setting 1, 2, and 3. On setting 1 and 3, there is a constant buzzing in the background. On setting 2, this buzzing is not present. However I would prefer to stay away from setting 2 because you have to speak very loudly for it to pick anything up.
I'm using GarageBand on a Mac (10.7). I read in only one other place online that someone was having this issue, but it was using Audacity, not GarageBand.
I have used two different USB cables, but the problem is present with both.
I would like to know if anyone here has this mic, and if they have experienced the same issue. If you've found a fix, please share.
Thanks,
Tristan
