So, you know that Moody Blues song where he sings, "I'm just a singer in a rock & roll band"?

What band was he singing about?

But they're not rock & roll.

Don't you get it? Don't you see??

Well what about that other stupid song, Clouds in your coffee?

"Your so vain, you probably think this song is a bout you"

Well isn't it?

If you know the lyrics, he was basically saying that he didn't have any solutions to the problems of the world because he was 'just a singer in a rock & roll band'.

"How can we understand
Riots by the people for the people
Who are only destroying themselves
And when you see a frightened
Person who is frightened by the
People who are scorching this earth.

Music is the traveller crossing our world
Meeting so many people bridging the seas
I'm just a singer in a rock and roll band.
We're just the singers in a rock and roll band.
I'm just a singer in a rock and roll band..."

That wasn't so hard Finchy.

My point, and the point that everyone seems to be missing, is that the Moody Blues aren't rock & roll.

Just killin' time on a Friday & tryin' to liven this place up.

I guess you enjoy being a jack-arse ?

Your ears and mind have been poisoned by heavy metal where

NObody knows what they are singing about, grunge garbage,

Gaga drivel, and bad rap !

Open your ears and your mind.
lighten up Francis

Finchy's just lobbing some snowballs at us proggers

well I am not Francis and how about if I would like to lob a snowball at "Finchy", myself ?

if his taste is in his arse, it is.

You would be surprised at the depth and verity of music that comes from Finch.

October Skies is a spammer and one of over 45 names assigned to one IP address. I'm looking into having the IP address banned.

It's nice to see people coming to Finchy's defence though. :)

Hey, this is turning out better than I expected!

Any other spammers out there, or is OctoberSkies the last one?

You need to fix your signature.

To be accurate it should read: "Capitalism = Moral but illegal"

Read up on what laissez-faire means.

May I suggest Andrew Berstein's The Capitalist Manifesto.
