Wharfedale new speakers....

...the Jade series....

...and I like what they say about them


“Jade series loudspeakers are designed to offer more than just ‘hi-fi’ reproduction,” said Peter Comeau, Wharfedale Director of Acoustic Design. “We created them more as fine music reproduction instruments that allow listeners to become totally involved in the musical performance, by experiencing all the emotion and passion given by the original musicians.”

They most certainly have my attention with that emotion and passion remark! I will keep my eyes on them...

Seems that Wharfedale is on a roll. Maybe this will be the magic that has carried over from their monitors. They have not seemed to have had much success lately with their floorstanders.

I don't know what your price range is, but both The Absolute Sound and Stereophile went nuts over the PSB Image T6 speakers, and I now know why; they are superb! They are incredibly good and only $1200/ pair. I am using them in my second home with a Musical Fidelity M3i amp, and the sound is nearly as good as my $30k system at my big house. Both the speakers and the amp are remarkable in their price range.

They also say that the PSB Imagine T is excellent, but I have yet to hear them; $2200 for them.
