As you already know, I have dipoles for my side surrounds with my seated position right in the null area. My question is, when I'm putting all my speaker distances into my receiver, I have always measured my dipoles right from the box to my position which I think is correct but I have had a thought that because none of the drivers are facing right at me should I be measuring the distance from the driver to the back wall and then to my position and putting that distance into my receiver. Right now I have them at 8 ft and if I was to measure the other way I would have about 22 ft. Thanks for any input.

Camster,

Measure from the speakers to the listening position. The back wave of the dipole is designed to simulate backwall speakers, and it's distance to the wall is not critical in determining distance.
