Hello guys, haven't been here for awhile. I was looking for a new receiver with hdmi inputs, to replace my older Yamaha one. Don't want to spend alot of money but want to stay with either Yamaha or denon. Any help with this would be great since I haven't been looking at receivers in awhile, Thx guys!!

That is a hard question to answer given your cost limitations. Recievers with HDMI circuitry will be faily new. If it has to be Yamaha or Denon, you may get lucky checking craigs list. I don't see you finding new gear at a low cost. On occasion, I have found high end gear on craigs list at bargain prices. If not there, I suggest ebay.
Good luck.

Try a google search to see what Yamaha and Denon models pop up and then look in the used market. You will get an idea of the price point and then check out the craigs list / ebay market.

Agree.

Without knowing your exact budget or feature requirements, I'd also recommend looking for last year's models, if you can find them online. Amazon is a good source here, as are places like Vann's, 6ave.com, J&R, and Onecall.com.

I'd also recommend contacting the manufacturer directly. Back when I was shopping for Pioneer Elite components I contacted the Pioneer USA folks and was pleased to hear that they still had some of the previous year models available for sale online.
