Well, it's just my luck that right after I took home the Pioneer DV-563a last night, I was combing through the internet and found a lot of articles regarding the inability of the DV-563a to play many newly released DVD-A's.
The impression I got from all the articles are:
- The problem is most likely caused by the incompatibility of the player's firmware with the latest generation of DVD-A authoring software.
- A lot of users has voiced their issues with Pioneer, and the problem is now being reviewed in their japanese headquarter.
- There is no word from Pioneer yet as to a fix to the problem.
I just want to bring up this topic for discussion. If anyone has any news development please keep us posted.
