Tuesday is the day that Summer Solstice occurs which mean it will be the longest day of year, and shortest night of year. This is where Northern Hempisphere is at it's maximum proximity to the Sun.

Starting Wednesday, the days will get shorter untill Dec 21st.

It's one of my favourite days of the year! My BFF and I are celebrating by taking the day off work, heading downtown for a day of shopping, lunch, and people watching. :D

Enjoy the day as here in the South it is too hot and muggy to do any outdoor activities. And the night will be too short to do any kind of celebration since it is a work day :)

We run naked through corn fields. It's not as liberating as it sounds - lotsa scrapes and cuts from corn stalks.
