Did you notice the improved transformer at the back?

Thanks. Although not all of me. The next improvement will be a separate transformer for the analog stages. Capacitors Auricap to 'output. A super regulator for the 5V digital supply

Hello everyone
This is my mod of cd6003
Gheorghe:)

Great job! What about listeting impressions: before / after and in comparison with another gear? Also, what is the source for additional works?

Hello valery
The main change is the replacement of the clock, but if you try the new cd6004, you'll see that the marantz has done to improve it. At the same price as the CD6003!
In this way you can focus on other changes. The replacement of the clock is the most expensive!
I have the links will be useful. There is also the service manual of the cd6003.
I can not send because I have sent a few post. If you are interested i try to send a direct message.
If you had to get the service manual of cd6004 send me a copy because I care.
The improvements are dramatic.

Fantastic work. Using V-Caps to output instead of Auricaps may step things up further. Just something to consider. You should check out diyAudio forum. You can get into very detailed and technical discussion about your mods there.

Thanks for the tip! Can you tell me in which thread?

No specific thread. What I meant was that if you post details about your mods on diyAudio, you will get a lot of positive discussion and feedback. There are a lot of highly knowledgeable and skilled people on that forum. Nelson Pass is a regular contributor.

Thanks to Glen B and itsoundsbetter. My next change will be to install a dedicated power supply for the DAC and use of some Black Gate capacitors in the PSU.
