I would like some help with choosing a centerspeaker. First a little information about my set-up. I have two B&W DM 580's as floorspeakers, two DM 570's as surround, and an Elac 101 ESP (as a sub, ofcourse). This is all hooked up to an Onkyo SR508. Now I am left with the difficult task to choose a centerspeaker. Where I am a huge fan of quality audio, I don't have the knowledge. What I did learn is that the center is one of the most (if not the most) important speakers in a surround set, because it handles all the dialogue. What I also heard is that the center must match the rest of the front speakers. There starts the problem. I started looking for a center from B&W, but there is no centerspeaker in the series 500. When I mailed the official B&W dealer/manufacturer if there is a series 500 center, and if not which center goes best with my current set-up they told me that the series 500 was out of production (well duh) and that I could buy a center of the series 600, because it was the best match in production. That was not what I asked (and well above budget). So therefore I started looking myself, and found that the two options were basically the CC3 and the CC6. Esthetically the CC3 fits better. But I don't know which of these two is the better choice in terms of matching sound. The prices are pretty similar so budget doesn't help me choose either. I believe the CC6 has kevlar cones, and the series 500 doesn't. So can that make a difference in sound, and does that make the CC3 a better match?
I really appreciate it if you guys will help me out with this one..
