A Dog Year - This is a Jeff Bridges movie but the Border Collie steals the show. It is about a guy who gets an abused dog and everything he goes through to establish trust and obedience. Mildly entertaining but Bridges is a bore. Maybe if I had not recently watched Tron, with 2 hours of him it would not have bothered me so much.
Held Up - Stupidly funny movie about a bored bank teller that wishes for something exciting to happen for once. It does when two different sets of goofs attempt to rob the bank. Some funny moments but not a great movie.
Middle Men - This one was pretty good. It is generally about the two guys who created the programming to allow people to use their credit cards via the internet to view a pay porn site. They become instant millionaires and lose it while a guy is hired to help them out. This one kept my interest all the way through and is based on true events but I am unsure how closely.
Sex Drive - This was suggested from a previous thread. I'm not sure if there are really two versions but I had the unrated one where they left a bunch of out-takes and goofs in. Some really funny stuff happens along the way as a teen who posed as someone he wasn't, travels across states to meet a girl for sex who isn't who she says either. Laughs all the way thru.
Big Fish - This is a Tim Burton flick about a father and son relationship where the father is always telling big stories and the son never knows what is true and what is not. It was odd at times and interesting at others. When the old man dies, the son is surprised when the characters in all the stories show up at the funeral.
