List of movies watched recently:

The King's Speech - Very well done and overall good movie.

Burlesque - Another great movie. I don't know much at all about Christina Agulara but gained some real appreciation for her here. I still don't like crooning and yodeling extra notes but she can act quite good as well as sing. Stanley Tucci and Cher along with many others also played great parts.

Yogi Bear - Stupid, dumb, funny, and enjoyable if you grew up with Yogi like I did.

Gulliver's Travels - I like almost all of Jack Black's movies and this one worked well also.

Hot Tub Time Machine - Good comedy and time passer. I didn't find it as great as most everyone else but did enjoy it.

Inkheart - Good storyline as characters come out of the books but it seems like Brendan Frasier has only one act and set of emotions. I sorta got tired and gave up by the end but it's not a bad movie.

Nowhere Boy - This is the story of John Lennon's childhood and growing up before the Beatles were even a dream. Quite a confusing and troubled childhood to go through.

The Wronged Man - Good flick about a Public Defender who goes way out of her way for many years to help free a man wrongly charged with raping a young challenged girl. Keeps your interest up throughout.

Winters Bone - This is a dark and sad movie for the most part but done well. The location looked just like a few of the off beaten roads my cousin drove me on when I was in Arkansas. The places he was showing me were Meth Labs.

Twelve - very strange movie about the drug culture. Some of the comments on IMDB agree, slow but everything happens at once so you can miss it, then it ends leaving you wanting a little more.

Zach and Mira Make a Porno - Another good hearted Seth Rogan movie with cutie Elizabeth Banks. Broke room mates decide to make a porno after meeting a Gay Porn Producer at a party. Non stop laughs with some really funny sex scenes (not real porn). Tracie Lords also has a good part if any of you remember her, she didn't quite look the same as her early underaged movies like the G-Spot.

I thought John Waters was the only one using Traci Lords.

I thought Traci Lords had a couple good parts actually.

I knew John Waters cast her in Cry-Baby and Serial Mom not too long after Not of this Earth. After that, I lost track of her except for some tv here and there.

May have to check that one out. I like prison and justice system movies.

Another similar one I have lined up is Conviction.

I felt the same way. Sex Drive is much better for an evening of juvenile, socially unacceptable humor.

Thanks for holding up the our end of the table, I've been busy with college visits. I agree with your assessment of the films we've both seen, (Inkheart, The Kings Speech) except for Hot Tub Time Machine, that to me was one worthless piece of drivel. Obviously not the worst movie ever made but nothing's worse than a comedy that's NOT funny.

I do want to see "Winter's Bone" I've heard nothing but great things about it.
