By the way, I just got my Preamp back from being updated by Frank Van Alstine. He upgraded the mosfet's, adjusted the bias and added a Home Theater by pass switch for $350. Its like getting a new preamp. The bass is tighter, deeper with more thump and the over all sound is smoother, more refined with more detail and depth. Treble is much more pleasing and refined.

Pretty cool unit with the chrome faceplate. I have heard of that unit before and I think I have actually seen it for sale other places but I cannot think where right now. To me it reminds me of a Jeff Rowland piece with the faceplate like that but I don't know anything about how good it is or anything like that.
