I recently obtained a channel master integrated amplifier. No serial numbers, no product numbers, nothing! It has 9 tubes in total but so far i've only been able to identify 4 of them(EL-84). it prolly weighs 30 or so pounds. anyone know anything in particular about it?

on the right side under the 2 knobs, what does it say, it looks like there is something written?

Now I am curious, I know Fisher used to make it with the same color front face but that doesn't look like a Fisher!

I was reading the thread from the other site that feanor posted and it mentioned ceramic capacitors and how they are not the best. I've never done any DIY stuff. Is it more work than i would want to deal with to change the capacitors?

Changing the capacitors is not that hard but for some people it is. You need to know how to use a soldering gun and sometimes you have to take off the whole board of the item you are recapping and that requires more work because you have to unsolder some wires and to remember later to solder them on the same place!
