Maverick Magic Tube DAC?

I'm considering one of these well reviewed and inexpensive ( $199 ) combo pre-amp/DAC's. But would it be an improvement over the good sounding DAC in my Rotel which has the TDA1541A?

Poultry you need to find a tech who can supercharge your CDP. There's a guy up here in the Great White North who does it. What chip is in the Mav? The 1541A is extinct and would be worth the money to mod IMO. I will find that guys info for you, he does a stellar job and can modify it to non over sampling which is really how those TDA15xx chips shine.
