He's with the thrash/power metal band Iced Earth now. Not as good as previous singer Matt Barlow IMO, but respectable if you go for that high-end style of singing.

And, while not a rock voice, I would have to give honourable mention to John Denver. One of the smoothest voices that I've ever heard live.

Lots of great picks. Several of whom are among my favorites but weren't on my list. Tom Waits, John Fogerty, Elton John, etc., etc. Good stuff. Maybe folks are now tired of the positivity and we should have a "vocalists that get on our nerves" thread!
