I am new around here and I was wondering if anyone could please help me. I just got a sansui av-99 audio video processor and was wondering how exactly to hook it up to a my sound system in my basement. I have a Pioneer vsa910 receiver, a sd290 toshiba cd player hooked up to 2 technics SB A53's and 2 KEF C35's. Theres alot of inputs on the back of the audio video processor and ive tried different combos and cant seem to figure it out. Can anyone help?

I looked around the online sources but not successful! I saw some sites have the manual so if you can download it, you can see how to connect it!

Since the VSA-910 is already an audio/video amplifier it is not a good idea to combine the two. As Dak says not a lot of info on the Sansui but my guess is it's badly outdated in regards to processing decoders.

Here is the sansui av 99. The reason why I am trying to hook it up is because I really like trippy music from the 60's and 70's and I've got some favorite jimi songs that I'd like to try to make some sweet visuals with it.

Did you see my post? Your Pioneer is an A/V amp already and you CANNOT use that Sansui with it.

Okay. If I just wanted to be able to use the sansui, what would I need to do?

It depends on if the Sansui has any built in amplifiers. Did you find an owners manual so you can provide some specs or info on the AV99? Look to see if any speaker connections are on the back and what they are labeled. If no speaker connections you will need a multichannel amplifier. I suspect your unit is an older Pro Logic type with an amp for rear and center but that's just a guess. If I'm correct, you can probably get away with just a stereo amp or even a vintage receiver with a "tape monitor'. Most of the old Pro Logic add on processors would run through a tape monitor.

Here is a picture of the inputs and outputs. I am trying to hook a cd player or turntable up to it for the audio and obviously it will have to have the picture feed to a tv. Help?
