Everyone who eats meat, sells meat, raises meat on a farm, except of course in India where people lay starving to death in the streets as nice healthy cows walk by laughing at them.

i heard once - and it stuck with me - that for ancient Egyptians - cats were the eyes of the gods on earth. I didn't have a cat till I was a married man. ..... :blush2:

I also heard that when a cat sleeps on your stomach they slowly breath your soul out of your body. I'm glad I sleep on my stomach.

As I undrestand it, it is allright to eat any animals that graze and eat vegetation only. Which pretty much leave out Cats, Dogs and Pigs also.

didn't mad cow come from the mice the cows were eating in the field?

No. Cows were being given feed that was made from cow byproducts.

A British inquiry into BSE concluded that the epidemic was caused by cattle, who are normally herbivores, being fed the remains of other cattle in the form of meat and bone meal (MBM), which caused the infectious agent to spread. The origin of the disease itself remains unknown. The infectious agent is distinctive for the high temperatures at which it remains viable; this contributed to the spread of the disease in Britain, which had reduced the temperatures used during its rendering process. Another contributory factor was the feeding of infected protein supplements to very young calves.

Kinda makes me happy that I haven't eaten beef since 1982.

That is nasty. So basically they were trying to turn Cows into pigs.

That is a religious belief and subject to scrutiny.

By the way, I know of several dogs and cats that love to eat grass (some like smoking it too) :prrr:

I've heard that a classic dish from the older times in America is beaver tail. http://allrecipes.com//Recipe/beaver-tails-from-a-real-canadian/Detail.aspx

Now I like beaver, and I like tail, but I'm not sure I'd want to eat it.

That's just the tip o' the iceberg, folks...Research it fer yerself, if you dare. That "feed" included parts of cow's nervous systems (brains, spinal cord, etc.)

Ain't you glad I happened to be here when you brought it up?

Name: Charity Beaver
Age: 24
Occupation: Personal Trainer

Why She’s a Finalist: This woman deserves votes for her name alone. On top of that, she’s doing her part to help women fit into their skinny jeans. The Archer City native moved to Dallas last year for an internship at Cooper Clinic, and she’s managed to make friends and build an impressive clientele in that short time. She divides her time between Cooper, the Dallas Country Club, and Equinox, but this lady isn’t all work and no play. “I’m a wino,” she says, laughing. “And I love cheeseboards. I have one at least once a week.” In addition to Cru, she loves Nick & Sam’s Grill and Mi Cocina. She feels lucky to be in Dallas doing a job that makes her happy to get out of bed every day. And it’s rewarding—in addition to training adult ladies and gents, Beaver works with a number of girls. “I train a lot of the Highland Park cheerleaders,” she explains. “And I work with an autistic girl. I love her. She brightens up even the worst day.”

I knew of a Dr Beaver in Oklahoma City. He is a native american and is a Gynecologist! And I'm not making that up. A few other funny Dr names were Dr Thrillkill a general surgeon in OKC, Dr. Sandman and anestisiologist, Dr's Yeast and Hymen are partner OG-Gyn's in Kansas City!
