Every time I turn around Parts Express is tempting me with something else. Be sure and check out the video at the bottom of the page. I wonder if this thing will fit in a wooden cigar box?

A largish shoe box; don't forget you need the power supply too.

HERE (http://connexelectronic.com/) is anonther outfit that has a much larger choice of Class "T" and class D amps and power supplies. How about this brute Tripath that will do up to 400 watts into 4 ohms ...

Bill, it would be interesting to know how that Tripath amp compares to the Class D amp that you just built.

I yielded to the Parts Express temptation today and pulled the trigger on the Sure Amp Board and that beefy DC power supply. I was still under the $100 limit for free shipping so I also ordered two BOFU's which were half price at only $19 each. BOFU's is the nick name they use on the Full Range Forum for the venerable Pioneer B20 8 inch FR driver. B. Brines is currently working on plans for the BOFU cabinet which he intends to share with anyone interested.

It would indeed, BR.

And, interestingly, the same purveyor supplies a module based on an International Rectifier chip which is the same make, maybe the same chip, as used in the Class D Audio kit I build. I think the CDA version might be a bit more sophisticated in its implementation, thoug the Connex version is supposedly made according IR guidelines.

Got the Sure Amp Board yesterday and am enjoying it immensely. Did the quick set up without reading the manual and thought I had a bad board until I realized that the tiny dip switches were all turned off ( needed a magnifying glass to see them ) The manual says it will run with the dips turned off but mine wouldn't. Impressive sound and it will fit in a wooden cigar box. I'll start a new thread with pics and impressions if you all are interested.
