Ray LaMontagne is offering a free download of "For the Summer", a track off of his upcoming new album, on Amazon. Unfortunately, Amazon won't allow me to download the track because I'm not in the US.

Would someone here be a dear and download the track and then upload it onto one of those newfangled sharing sites that I can then download it from?

That would be awesome! Thanks. :D

I don't care what Swish says about you, you're a good man Slosh. :wink5: Thanks.

And, I like the song. Not quite as dark as some of his older stuff. If this is indicative of the rest of the CD it'll be a good one!

Nice tune. Last week on Imus they played a different tune off the new one...pretty horrible...it was described as sounding like Tiny Tim...and it did.

Some uselessy warbling thing. I like Ray but I'd certainly rather have an album of this than what I heard the other day.

Here's another new song, The Devil's in the Jukebox (http://stereogum.com/456372/ray-lamontagne-the-pariah-dogs-the-devils-in-the-jukebox-stereogum-premiere/mp3s/).

This one is streamed, no d/l required. Not as good as For The Summer IMO. But could be a grower.

I wish I could do you a favour, FA!

I always seem to miss your greetings in threads and I don't want you to think I'm snubbing you! It's just not the Canadian way!

You know, I heard about new bands offering downloads on a Nike website, and I downloaded a bunch on my computer and there are some I really liked. But the darn things are rigged so that you can only listen to them on the computer. They won't synch to my Ipod.

Do you know any tricks to get past their software? Made me so mad I don't want to like the songs anymore. :incazzato:
