Howdy, Bogart.

Check you Blue Jeans Cable for all your cable needs. There is rarely a reason to spend more.

See BJC's speaker cable link here ... http://www.bluejeanscable.com/store/speaker/index.htm

Basic 12 to 16 gauge from a local source (Home Depot, Lowes, whatever) will do fine. Y0u can use it either bare or you can add terminations on the ends. Either way it will sound fine, assuming you attach the terminations correctly.

Bare thick cables won't fit in the connectors of a 2325. I'd recommend pin terminations or fairly thin cables...assuming they're a short distance.

An extremely well thought out point that often gets lost in the "thicker is better" cable frenzy that pervades this hobby.

IIRC, most vintage Marantz's are happy with 16 gauge which, thankfully, is more than adequate for virtually any real-world home listening situation.

Bare wires work very well because the malleability allows the press-and-release clips to "bite into the wire" and make a tighter connection. I suggest they be tightly twisted before insertion. As always, check for stray wires.

I've got an old Marantz 1150 which has the same clip connections. I use inexpensive 14 gauge Monoprice speaker wire terminated with flex pins. Don't get the straight pins as the flex pins fit much better and are easier to manage. I believe AR makes them and I bought mine on ebay. hhgregg may also carry them.
