I am looking for a usable "low end" amp. Pretty much all of my music and radio comes from my computer, so I don't need a receiver. I never play around with bass/treble, so I don't care about that. I don't do 5.1, or even 2.1. And I live in an apt, so I can't blast out anything. 50 watts would do me just fine. So is there anything made for my simple needs? I am not even sure I need a volume button since I control that from the computer. Or is simple here, like complex, something I have to pay lots for?

And TIA.

Check out NAD, Cambridge Audio, Marantz and the Onkyo A-9555 integrated amps. All brands are quality amps available at various prices.

What's your budget? Used you can get something from about $100.

A Trends digital amp used to run about $150.00 but only 10 watts per channel. Audio Source are inexpensive as well. Probably several cheap options if you have a Craigslist in your area.

No, simple can be cheap and good.
