1981 Mitsubishi ms-40 speakers

Any knowledge of these speakers? At a thrift for $30. All I found is 1980-1981 for about $1200 with honeycomb? woofers. tanks

I doubt they were $1200 at the early 80's.

I don't know anything about the Mitsubishi speakers.

I see people selling them once in a while but they are not popular speakers and usually the people sell them for like $20 to $40 so I guess it is nothing special!

I look at these two ways, you found them cheap and $30 doesn't buy anything new. Additionally, you can't buy speaker boxes that cheap, so as an option you can always buy replacement speakers and crossovers and make them what you want.
