Well. I won't bother to post any pics of the clean up. Unlike the shiny beauty of the SX650, nothing can help this thing look good.

On that topic, I'll tell you, this thing is ugly. Just a jumble of buttons and sliders. Clearly there was a feature craze when this was made.
Just to refresh, I found this on the curb, ready for garbage with an accompanying Pioneer. I have cleaned it up and plugged it in. I have inputted my DAC for my soundcard and my Yammy CDP. My thoughts?
Great amp! Yes indeed, it sounds awesome. With more power than the Pioneer, I have more headspace with my NOS DAC which I am enjoying. I would have to say the mids are more balanced than the Pioneer and the extreme highs seem smoother.
What can I say? I'll probably sell it, and someone will get a good deal. The reality is there's no way I could get the real value for this thing because it's been hit with the ugly stick. Like an overgrown clock radio. If I owned Marantz, I would dedicate some of the budget to buying these up and having them destroyed.
