Okay, I've decided to purchase a second Ed Frias kit so I'll now have 2 pairs of these things to build. Naturally, I'd like some ideas for a center channel to go along with them. There must be some ideas out there. I'd prefer not just using another bookshelf style speaker, so has anyone come across, or built, a center channel to integrate with Ed's speakers? Thanks.

Ed Frias sells BIC DV-62si speakers which are shielded and which he has modified to have voicing resembling the AR.coms. See his recent post to a question similar to yours:
