I want to learn more about how sound and music work. Suggest some reading please.

I know some one here has some suggestion that is good. There are some smart people on this forum.

Tomlinson Holman who was my professor while in cinema school in college has these great books

These are just a few suggestions to cut your teeth on. Alton Everest and Floyd Toole's books are my personal favorites.
