Enough of this digital nonsense with loads of active gain stages! Time for simple, pure analog sound reproduction:

Now that's what I'm talking about!!! Who's with me??? Join the rebellion against the disgusting modern trends of convenience over sound quality!!!

Nah! Analog had its hay days, so it is time to move on. Beside, analog medium such as vinyl can not handle todays high dynamic, low noise and distortion digital format anyway.

But Thomas Edison's original Cylinder Phonograph was the pinacle of Hi-Fidelity reproduction, before the focus changed to easier to mass produce (and higher storage capacity) methods like 78s and Vinyl.... Back when persons cared about quality rather than convenience....

Plus there's no active components.... forget the need for any expensive power conditioners, overpriced cables or any other nasties to mess up the sound!!!!

I think I will stick to them Crazy new Analog player things.

My buddy's parents have a very nice older phonograph prayer like in the picture, you open the doors up on it and it's got a horn built in to the cabinet. They look nice but the sound is a different subject all together. :nonod:

Why yes, yes of course. Wax is bound to have more "organic" sound than vinyl. :cornut:
